Science Fair Project: Which uses more water, a bath or a shower?Water is a clear, tasteless, odorless liquid. About 80% of our planet is covered with water, most of which is from the oceans. In many places water is in short supply because population is rising. We should all do our part to conserve water.
This science fair project will help you see if you are conserving more water when you bathe or when you shower. After you find out, share what you discovered with your family and friends so they can conserve water, too.
You will need some material to do this project including a stop watch, a shower and tub, some masking tape, a ruler, and a logbook.
The science fair project involves taking showers and baths, not only you, but several people, and measuring the amount of water consumed. You may be surprised at the results.
